The Flights
Manchester to Abu Dhabi Etihad flights are very expensive at the moment on the 15th - 20th October, they are coming in at around 1k for some reason.
Flying into Dubai with emirates saves around 390 per person currently costing £609 return if you choose the best options of 9am flight out and the midday flight back.

You can easily arrange a transfer to Yas island which takes 90 Minutes, granted it is an hour longer than the transfer to Yas island from Abu Dhabi airport (30 minutes) but for a flight saving of £350 per head, it is well worth it.
You can either arrange a transfer with your hotel which is usually the easiest option (not the cheapest) or book a transfer on GetTransfer.com
Id expect to pay around £100-150 per car.
Hotels
I've found 3 hotels on Yas island offer rooms with complimentary access to theme parks (one theme park per day)
All links below to booking pages are pre set to 15-22 October but default to prices for 1 room with 2 adults & no kids
Just amend this to whatever you or someone else needs, it will update the price but the pricing i've mentioned quickly below are current prices for a room with 2 adults & 2 children

I think this one is probably best if you are doing a full week, it's a very nice hotel on the bay that you'd be happy to stay at & then just happens to be right next all the theme parks.
The other 2 options are just hotel's either on the F1 track or on the theme parks themselves & it just seems like they are both only useful if you were watching the F1 or only wanted to go the parks.

The Warner Brothers Hotel Abu Dhabi
This seems to be heavily aimed at younger kids & is right on the theme park itself. I've looked at the satellites images of it & it looks like someone has just plonked it in the middle of the car park it's not got a beach/ bay near it just a large kids pool. Imagine younger kids would like it but doesn't seem to tick any of the adults boxes.

The W Abu Dhabi
Very recognisable but just seems to be made purely for the Grand Prix weekend, doesn't really look good for the adults for a holiday never mind the kids, the pool is on the roof and although it looks nice it seems pretty boring being in hotel surrounded by an empty f1 track.
